David Hagan, LifeBrothers LifeBrothers is aimed at promoting personal excellence in men aged 17-24. David's honest – and sometimes blunt – speech addresses societal rules, stigmas and barriers that discourage men from discussing their most private and stressful issues. He explains how to discuss ANY issue without fear, shame or hesitation and how to have a fraternal bond that many men seek but few find. David focuses on changing young men’s perspectives on life issues into opportunities for them to learn, grow and become better men. Key topics (contains mature content) covered include: Better Health Choices, Authentic Relationships, High Personal Standards, Alcohol Awareness, and Respect in Intimate Relationships.
Melinda Harper, Transition to University (T2U) Melinda Harper, founder of T2U, will discuss how students and athletes can navigate the normative college life challenges. This includes the unique ability to self-regulate, motivate, and care for your own physical and psychological health. Dr. Melinda Harper will address common challenges to college life and offer advice and suggestions on how young adults can prioritize and enhance their own physical and mental wellness to be as successful as possible.
