Tomorrow, Tuesday, April 23rd, is the annual WHS STE(A)M Showcase from 6:00-6:45pm, WHS Dining Commons. Students will present projects created as part of their work to earn a certificate documenting expertise in the fields of science, technology, engineering and math. But there is also a place for the arts!
The student showcase will be followed at 7pm by guest lecturer Nathalie Miebach, a sculptor who crosses the boundaries between science, music and art.
Three quarters of a million people have watched Miebach's TED Talk. Thanks to WFEE and the Winchester Savings Bank, you can see her presentation live and at no cost. Miebach is best known for turning weather data from massive storms into sculptures that are then used to create musical scores.
