Volunteers Wanted!
The Social Studies department at WHS will again host a Financial Literacy Fair for the entire Junior class (Grade 11) on the morning of Wednesday, March 20. This Fair will introduce students to the financial basics of post-college graduation life.
We are looking for volunteers from the community to assist with the Fair. Volunteers will help guide students through their activities, provide deeper explanations for any of the financial tasks, and/or help with the Fair’s functioning. If you’ve made any adult decisions like getting a job, buying a car, or renting an apartment, then you have the required experience to assist us!
The Fair should run for about one hour and 15 minutes, from 9.30 to 10.45 AM. Volunteers should arrive between 8.45 AM and 9.00 AM, in order to receive assignments and a short training before the Fair begins.
To volunteer, please contact Scott Spencer (sspencer@winchesterps.org) or Andrew Langlois (alanglois@winchesterps.org) at Winchester High School.
